JOHNSTOWN —
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Mintmier Jr. of Johnstown will note their 50th wedding anniversary during a summer party with family and friends.
Mr. Mintmier and the former Carole Savering were married Dec. 30, 1961, at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, Johnstown, by the Rev. William Peters.
Mr. Mintmier was born July 12, 1940, in Johnstown, son of Clyde E. Sr. and Mary Mintmier.
Mrs. Mintmier was born June 27, 1942, in Johnstown, daughter of Kenneth and Catherine Savering.
Mr. Mintmier is retired director of Environmental Services. He is president of MERHO Federal Credit Union.
He enjoys traveling, hunting and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Mintmier is a retired licensed practical nurse from Mercy Hospital.
She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
The Mintmiers are the parents of four children: Kenneth, and wife, Marcia, Point Pleasant, N.J.; Mary Ann, wife of Robert Jones, Johnstown; Kathy, wife of Greg Zimmerman, Johnstown; and David, Johnstown.
There are seven grandchildren: Zachary, Megan, Holly, J.J., Kayla, Justine and Greg.
