JOHNSTOWN —
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mastovich Sr. of Franklin Borough have noted their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Harrigan’s Cafe & Wine Deck, downtown Johnstown.
Mr. Mastovich and the former Kathleen Alvares were married Nov. 10, 1962, at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Johnstown, by the Rev. Radisa Purich.
Mr. Mastovich was born in Johnstown, the son of Milan and Helen Mastovich. Also born in Johnstown, Mrs. Mastovich is the daughter of the late Anna Alvares.
Mr. Mastovich works at Kircon-Breco Service in Ferndale. He formerly operated his own business Masty’s Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
The Mastoviches are avid hockey fans and have been season ticket holders of the Johnstown Chiefs, Nailers and Johns-town Tomahawks for nearly 20 years.
They are the parents of two children: Michael, husband of Teresa, Johnstown; and David, husband of Darlene, Bethel Park, Pa.
There is one granddaughter, Shelby, and five grandsons, Michael, Alec, Brevin, Ryan and Carter.
