Burns couple observe 45th date

JOHNSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Ed Burns of Venice, Fla., formerly of Johnstown, will observe their 45th wedding anniversary.

Mr. Burns and the former Diane Cintula were married Oct. 21, 1967, at St. John Gualbert Cathedral.

Mr. and Mrs. Burns met at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena and remained avid hockey fans throughout the years.

They are former owners of Burns Photography in Hornerstown.

In 1996, they created a line of products for other professional photographers and spent many years traveling across the country, exhibiting at conventions

and trade shows.

In 2001, they sold the studio and moved to Venice.

They now enjoy a hobby of photographing the area and writing a blog at www.NewFloridians.com, sharing their experiences in Florida.

The couple worked together full time for more than 35 years.

Mr. Burns likes to say, “We are the most married people around, and they said it would never last.”

They are the parents of two sons, Tim of Eighty Four, Washington County, and Russ of New York City.

There are two grandsons, Brock and Trent, also of Eighty Four.
