Mr. and Mrs. Paul Baer of Hollsopple have observed their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at Surf & Turf Inn, 100 Valley Pike, Johnstown.
Mr. Baer and the former Rosalie Ferline were married Nov. 7, 1959, at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Windber.
Mr. Baer was born June 15, 1930, son of Ledger and Verna Baer. Mrs. Baer was born May 10, 1925, daughter of Joseph and Mary Ferline.
Mr. Baer is a retired plumber and former part owner of Breco Mechanical Contractors.
He is an Army veteran.
He is a member of Connumach Lions Club.
Mrs. Baer is a retired registered nurse. She is a member of Connumach Lioness Club.
The Baers are members of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Windber.
They enjoy attending their grandchildren’s sporting events.
The Baers are the parents of two sons: Paul, and wife, Patty, Hollsopple, and Bill, and wife, Trish, Leesburg, Va.
There are five grandchildren: Carly and Lyndy of Hollsopple and Matthew, Christopher and Jason of Leesburg, Va.
