New: Kentucky Fried Chicken in downtown Johnstown closing

JOHNSTOWN — The downtown Johnstown Kentucky Fried Chicken store is closing its doors at 7 tonight. Brandi Shawley, assistant manager and one of 23 part-time employees losing their jobs, said they were notified Thursday of the closing. “It’s a sad time, to say the least, because we all need jobs,” Shawley said. Shawley was told the store was closing because of financial reasons.
