Police nab one Moxham shooting suspect, seek another

JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown Police Department said today it has arrested one of two suspects in a shooting that left two people injured in Moxham on Saturday.

The department posted on Twitter just after noon today that “Charles Meyer has been apprehended on Grove Ave.”

Earlier in the day, the department had announced that Meyer and Jason Maines were wanted in connection with the home invasion shooting in the 700 block of Highland Avenue and released photos of the suspects.

A resident and an intruder were injured in the shooting, police Chief Craig Foust said.

The Tribune-Democrat will have more details about the arrest of Meyer and the search for Maines in Thursday’s print and digital editions.
