JOHNSTOWN — At least one Johnstown police officer was injured in an accident in the city’s West End following a chase involving a stolen vehicle.

Police said that Kevin Plummer was driving the stolen car.

Cambria 911 said that a vehicle, which was spotted by Dale Borough police, was reported stolen at 10:56 in Richland Township.

Dale police gave chase, with other police vehicles joining in the pursuit. The chase ended at Fairfield Avenue and D Street in the West End, with the stolen car colliding with a police cruiser.

A tweet by the Johnstown Police Department later stated that two officers were injured in the accident. Previous reports said Plummer and an unnamed officer were injured.
