D.B. Homes Inc. will hold a car wash fundraiser for Young Professionals of the Alleghenies (YPA) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday outside the company’s office at 706 Eisenhower Blvd., Richland Township.
Monetary donations will be accepted with all proceeds going toward YPA’s general operating fund.
D.B. Homes will sell hot dogs and refreshments to raise additional money.
The car wash will be held in conjunction with D.B. Homes’ annual open house for its design center and model home.
Seminars will be held at noon and 2 p.m. for those interested in building a new home.

Dairy Queen holding Miracle Treat Day
Dairy Queen will host the fourth annual North American Miracle Treat Day on Aug. 13.
For each Blizzard sold on Miracle Treat Day, participating stores will donate $1 to Children’s Miracle Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals.
Last year on Miracle Treat Day, Dairy Queen raised more than $4.5 million for 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
