The Greater Johnstown/ Cambria County Convention & Visitors Bureau will host two workshops focusing on Web site marketing for small businesses as part of the “Tourism Tuesdays” series.
The events will be held Nov. 10 at the Heritage Discovery Center, 201 Sixth Ave., Johnstown.
“Creating a Billboard Strategy for Your Website” will focus on key strategies to increase Web site traffic, how to generate leads and find new customers. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the session running from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
“What’s Your Tweet ROI?” uses real-life examples of techniques and strategies to help use social media effectively to meet business goals. Registration for the session begins at 10 a.m. with the session running from 10:30 to noon.
Both sessions will be presented by Jim Skillington, founder and president of New Village Media.
