Berlin breezes by Conemaugh Township
Drew Glotfelty was only on the field for a little more than 2 ½ quarters on Friday night at the Snyder Sports Complex.
But when the Berlin Brothersvalley senior running back was in the mix, he shone as brightly as the full moon overhead, rushing for 155 yards on 12 carries and three touchdowns in a lopsided 41-6 WestPAC win over Conemaugh Township. -

Camp Hill defeats Conemaugh Township
Conemaugh Township fell behind in the first inning and the District 5 champion Indians spent most of Monday battling back in their PIAA Class A first-round baseball game against Camp Hill at McConnellsburg High School.
In the end, despite the Lions committing five errors, the District 3-2 squad prevailed 4-2 to move into the second round on Thursday against the winner of the Montgomery/Pius X game. -
Township claims 5-A title
Jordan Shroyer hit a two-run homer over the left-field fence in the top of the seventh to lift Conemaugh Township over Meyersdale in the District 5 Class A baseball title game.

Baker, Bracken are double winners
Bedford’s Carrie Baker and Windber’s Jenna Bracken each brought home double gold from Wednesday’s District 5 Class AA Track and Field Championships at Northern Bedford County High School.
