People of Johnstown, please beware when using uninsured, rogue taxicabs.
You might think you are saving money by using these people, but you are not insured while in their car; the cars are not Public Utility Commission-inspected; and they are not properly maintained.
If you are involved in a wreck and are injured, you are on your own. Rogue cab companies have only personal insurance, and under state law their insurance companies don’t have to pay for injuries to you because you are riding with these people at your own risk while paying them for the ride.

Hosting terrorist trial would boost coffers
If offered, Johnstown should think twice about the possibility of hosting the terrorist trials. The city is in financial trouble, and this could be the shot in the arm it needs.
The city would be full of extra people that would include: Security, federal personnel, media and more.
These people would need to eat, sleep and spend money on other needs while here.
I’m sure the terrorists are constantly planning and testing ways to enter this country. They won’t stop until they succeed again, but they’re not hovering above the hills of Johnstown waiting to attack.
Please do not forget that this trial is because more than 2,000 of our fellow Americans were killed. Hosting this is the area’s way of sending a message to the terrorist organizations that united we stand.
Turning the idea away is an act of cowardice.
