JOHNSTOWN — Michael R. and Diane M. Hilands of Westmont have announced the engagement of their daughter, Alison R., to Matthew L. Brandle, son of Louis J. Brandle of Ferndale and Judith L. Lynch of Westmont.

Miss Hilands is a 2003 graduate of Westmont Hilltop

High School and a 2010 graduate of Conemaugh School of Nursing.

She is a Registered Nurse at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where she has been employed since 2007.

Mr. Brandle is a 1998 graduate of Bishop McCort Catholic High School and a 2003

graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Brandle works in Sales and Marketing for Lias Tire Racing, Indiana, Pa., where he has been employed since 2009.

A Sept. 28, 2013, wedding is planned.
