JOHNSTOWN — Joseph and Peggy Miesko of Johnstown and Rick and Tina Wike of Shippenville, Clarion County, have announced the engagement of their children, Kathryn Miesko and Christopher Wike.

Miss Miesko is a 2005 graduate of Central Cambria High School, Ebensburg, and a 2009 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she received a bachelor’s degree in education.

She is attending Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she is pursuing a master’s degree.

She is a junior high English teacher employed by Cranberry Area School District.

Mr. Wike is a 2005 graduate of Keystone High School and a 2009 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

In 2010, he earned a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and is pursuing a doctorate.

A July 2013 wedding is planned in Pittsburgh.
