JOHNSTOWN —
Eugene and Ruth Myers of Westminster, Md., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Rachel, to Eric Potts, son of Richard and Eileen Potts of Windber.
Miss Myers is a 2002 graduate of Hood College, where she received a bachelor’s degree, and a 2009 graduate of The George Washington University Physician Assistant program with a master’s degree in health science.
She is a Physician Assistant in Baltimore, Md., and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Mr. Potts is a 1993 graduate of Windber Area High School and a 1995 graduate of Cambria-Rowe Business College, where he received an associate degree.
In 2008, he graduated from the United Association Mechanical Trade School in plumbing.
He is a journeyman plumber in Washington, D.C., and a member of the Washington, D.C., Local Plumbers Union 5.
An April 20 wedding is planned at Deer Park United Methodist Church, Westminster, Md.
