JOHNSTOWN — Thomas Jr. and Delores Columbus of Vintondale and Randall and Anne

Passanita of Ebensburg have announced the engagement of their children, Allison Columbus and Neil Passanita.

Allison is 2005 graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School, Ebensburg, and a 2009 graduate of Penn State, where she received a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in business.

She is a purchasing assistant employed by Sheetz Inc.

Neil is a 2000 graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000-2006.

He is employed as a corrections officer.

An Aug. 4 wedding is planned at Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, Ebensburg.
