Peter and Peggy Barta of Hollsopple and Marie Barta of Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Andria Barta, to Scott Civils, son of Steve and Nancy Civils of Curwensville, Clearfield County.
Miss Barta is a 1997 graduate of Jersey Shore High School and a 2002 graduate of Lock Haven University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
She is employed by JusticeWorks YouthCare of Berks County.
Mr. Civils is a 1996 graduate of Curwensville High School and a 2002 graduate of Lock Haven University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry.
He is employed by Carpenter Technology Corp.
An April 10, 2010, wedding is planned in Hollidaysburg.
