JOHNSTOWN — Nicole Marie Zaliznock and John A. Eckenrode have announced their engagement.

Miss Zaliznock is the daughter of Dan and Mary Zaliznock of Cresson.

Mr. Eckenrode is the son of Buck and Betty Eckenrode of Munster.

Miss Zaliznock is a 2009 graduate of Penn Cambria High School, Cresson, and a 2012 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in history.

Mr. Eckenrode is a 2002 graduate of Penn Cambria High School.

He is employed by Eckenrode’s Garage.

A spring 2014 wedding is planned at Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Loretto.
