David and Linda Gerstenlauer of Norcross, Ga., and Timothy and Mary Pat Sheridan of North Topsail Beach, N.C., have announced the engagement of their children, Sarah Gerstenlauer and James Sheridan.

Miss Gerstenlauer is employed as an executive recruiter for the SearchLogix Group in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mr. Sheridan is a 1998 graduate of Bishop McCort High School.

He is a senior insurance agent for The Glancy Agency in Atlanta, Ga.

A spring 2010 wedding is planned.
