William and Stephanie Giannone of Johnstown have announced the engagement of their daughter, Julia Lynn, to Evan Ahern Santini, son of Dolores Santini of Mechanicsville, Md., and the late John Santini.
Miss Giannone is a 2001 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State, where she received a degree in business marketing.
She is a marketing and sales representative employed by PRIMEDIA Inc., in the Baltimore-D.C. area.
Mr. Santini is a 2000 graduate of St. Mary’s Ryken High School and a 2004 graduate of Towson University, where he received a degree in sports management.
He is employed by Ryan Homes in Howard County, Md., as a project manager.
A September 2010 wedding is planned.
