Mr. and Mrs. Scott Steele of Johnstown have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sabrina Ann, to John Kenneth Davenport, son of Julie Ann Davenport of Bloomsburg, Lancaster County.
Miss Steele is a 1996 graduate of Bishop McCort High School and 2000 graduate of Penn State, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology.
In 2008, she earned a master’s degree from the University of Arizona.
She is attending the University of Colorado, where she is pursuing a doctorate.
She is employed by Youth Advocate Program Inc., as a therapist, and a senior project manager at Goodwill Industries Inc. of the Conemaugh Valley.
Mr. Davenport is a graduate of Southern Columbia High School.
He served in the Army Military Police from 1989-1993.
He is employed by Federal Bureau of Prisons as a lieutenant and serves in the Army Military Police.
A June 12 wedding is planned in Bethany Beach, Del.
