Amanda J. Cummings and Patrick D. Kohan have announced their engagement.
Miss Cummings is the daughter of Allen and Shelley Cummings of Nanty Glo.
Mr. Kohan is the son of Barbara Kohan of Richland Township and the late Ronald Kohan.
Miss Cummings is a 1998 graduate of Blacklick Valley High School, Nanty Glo, and a 2000 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, where she received an associate degree in occupational therapy.
In 2006, she received an associate degree in nursing from Community College of Allegheny County.
She is a registered nurse employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Kohan is a 1998 graduate of Richland Senior High School and a 2002 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he received a bachelor’s degree.
He is employed by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
A Dec. 5 wedding is planned.
