Melissa Gore of Johnstown has announced the engagement of her daughter, Irish Raco Harrigan, to Daniel Ryan Dougherty, son of Daniel Dougherty of Middle Village, N.Y. Miss Harrigan also is the daughter of the late J. Patrick Harrigan.
Miss Harrigan is a 2004 graduate of Pemberton (N.J.) High School and the University of Phoenix, where she received an associate degree in business.
She is employed by Little Angels Learning Center, Johnstown.
Mr. Dougherty is a 2004 graduate of Long Island City (N.Y.) High School.
He is employed by Atlantic Broadband, Johnstown.
A summer 2010 wedding is planned.
