Sara M. Townsend and Travis M. Golesich have announced their engagement.
Miss Townsend is the daughter of Jan Townsend of Dallas, Luzerne County, and the late Ivor Townsend III.
She is a 2002 graduate of Octorara High School, Atglen, Chester County, and a 2006 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College, where she received an associ-ate degree in office administration.
Sara is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Elizabethtown College.
She is employed by Giant Food Stores Corporate Office in Carlisle, Cumberland County.
Mr. Golesich is the son of Monica Smith of New Florence and Frank Golesich of Johns-town.
He is a 2000 graduate of Forest Hills High School, Sidman.
He is employed by Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. in Harrisburg.
A September wedding is planned.
