Stephen and Dara Kendera of Vinco and Herb and Jackie Anderson of Commodore have announced the engagement of their children, Madison Kendera and Garrett Anderson.
Miss Kendera is a 2005 graduate of Central Cambria High School, Ebensburg, and a 2009 graduate of Thiel College, where she received a degree in chemistry.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
She is employed as a laboratory intern at Concurrent Technologies Corp.
Mr. Anderson is a 2006 graduate of Purchase Line High School, Commodore.
He is a senior at Thiel College, where he is majoring in biology with minors in business administration and medical biology.
After graduation, he plans to attend the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science to pursue a degree in funeral directing.
A summer 2012 wedding is planned.
