Dr. Janice Dec-Bienkowski of Clarksburg, Md., and Dr. Leonard Bienkowski of Frederick, Md., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Janice Bienkowski, to Benjamin Richard Maderia, son of Richard and Catherine Maderia of Summerhill.
Miss Bienkowski is a 2009 graduate of St. Francis University, Loretto. She is a special education teacher at Forest Hills Elementary School.
Mr. Maderia is a 2009 graduate of St. Francis University.
He is a youth case worker at a juvenile delinquent home and school.
An Oct. 30, 2010, wedding is planned in Loretto.
