JOHNSTOWN — Ronald and Sherry Appley of St. Michael have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Marion, to Brian James Garman Jr., son of Brian Sr. and Connie Garman, also of St. Michael.

Miss Appley is a 2011 graduate of Forest Hills High School, Sidman.

She is attending Pitt-Johnstown.

She is employed by UPJ.

Mr. Garman is a 2007 graduate of Forest Hills High School.

He is a coal miner employed by PBS/Rox Coal.

A July 6, 2013, wedding is planned.
