JOHNSTOWN — Angela Steck of Johnstown has announced the engagement of her son, Paul Beener, to Katie Ward, daughter of Bill and Georgianne Ward of Wilkins Township, Allegheny County. Mr. Beener also is the son of the late Paul William Beener.

Miss Ward is a 2003 graduate of Woodland Hills High School and a 2005

graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute, where she received an associate

degree in computer-aided drafting.

She is a store planner at Giant Eagle Inc., Fox Chapel, Allegheny County.

Mr. Beener is a 1999 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School, Davidsville, and a 2002 graduate of ITT Technical Institute, where he received an associate degree in electronics.

He is a senior reliability technician at Philips Respironics, Plum, Allegheny County.

A June wedding is planned in Irwin, Westmoreland County.
