A spiritual revival will be held at 10:30 a.m., noon and 6 p.m. today and at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Belmont United Methodist Church, 107 Coldren St., Johnstown.
A fellowship luncheon will be held at noon Sunday.
Gospel Sounds Duet in concert on Sunday
Bright Hope Parish of the United Methodist Church has announced that the Gospel Sounds Duet will present a concert during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service at Nanty Glo United Methodist Church, 998 Lloyd St.
All five of the churches in the parish will worship at the Nanty Glo church on Sunday.
Church members to celebrate dedication
Following the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service, members of St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 1439 Ridge Road, Hooversville, will celebrate the dedication of a recently built ramp and restroom.
Bishop will speak at Spring Meadow
Spring Meadow Family Worship Center, Route 56, Fishertown, will hold a dedication celebration for the new wing of the church at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Bishop Jeffords will speak.
Following the dedication, a meal will be served in the Family Life Center.

First Lutheran Church books guest organist
Kim Rauch, former minister of music at First Lutheran Church, will be the guest organist during the 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service at the church, 415 Vine St. in downtown Johnstown.
Rauch, who served First Lutheran Church from 1989 to 1997, is returning as part of the church’s 175th anniversary celebration.
He earned a music education degree from Penn State and a master’s degree in sacred music from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, N.J.
Rauch directed the Men’s Glee Club at the University of Pittsburgh and played the organ at Heinz Hall.
After leaving First Lutheran, he served at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Richland Township and Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset.
Rauch teaches choral music at Richland High School and has been serving Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church near Jenners-town since 2007.
Church to hold anointing service
St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, 536 Decker Ave., Johnstown, will celebrate the anointing of the sick during a 2 p.m. Sunday Mass.
Novena prayers to St. Therese will be recited during the Mass.
Hymn sing on Sunday at Roxbury St. Paul’s
A hymn sing will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Roxbury St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 160 Derby St., Johnstown.
Gospel group to perform at Wesley UM
Chosen, a gospel music group, will present a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Main and Church streets, South Fork.
Church conference set for Wednesday
Bright Hope Parish of the United Methodist Church – made up of Belsano, Belsano Faith, Nanty Glo, Strongstown and Mount Union churches – will hold a conference focusing on leadership, finances and other issues at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Creekside United Methodist Church, 444 Indiana Road.
Pastor Sharon Schwab, Indiana District superintendent, will preside.
Prayer group to meet at Frugality church
St. Joan of Arc Charismatic Prayer Group will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Joan of Arc Church, Route 53, Frugality, between Dysart and Coalport.

Alpha series to begin Thursday in Berlin
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 525 Main St., Berlin, will hold a four-session Alpha series comparing and contrasting the Christian and Muslim religions during October. All sessions start at 7 p.m.
Christianity and Islam will begin Thursday with “The Tenets of Islam”; “The Trinity” on Oct. 8; “The Bible and the Incarnation” on Oct. 22; and “The Cross and Salvation” on Oct. 29.
