Phantom, friends lend voices for Arcadia show

Johnstown — Ciaran Sheehan, a Dublin native who starred in the Broadway and Canadian productions of “Phantom of the Opera,” will bring a company of performers to Windber on Nov. 3.

The 8 p.m. show at Arcadia Theater, 1418 Graham Ave., will feature classics from the Emerald Isle and Broadway favorites.

Sheehan made his Broadway debut in “Les Miserables” and was later cast as the phantom in “Phantom of the Opera” for over 1,000 performances.

He will be accompanied by acclaimed soprano Sarah Pfisterer, who has played over 1,000 performances in the role of Christine in  “Phantom of the Opera” on Broadway and across the country.

“On Broadway, she played Magnolia in Harold Prince’s recent revival of ‘Show Boat’ ” Sheehan said.

Also appearing in the show will be Irish-born multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter Gabriel Donohue.

Donohue performs mostly on guitar and piano, but he also plays many more instruments – from bouzouki/mandolin to Irish and exotic percussion.

He toured for three years with the Grammy Award winning Chieftains.

Sue Anderson will provide the piano accompaniment.

Among all her credits, she coached Rex Harrison in the revival of “My Fair Lady.”
