High School GirlsFerndale 57 Blacklick Valley 35
NANTY GLO – Junior Brittany Eisenhuth scored 19 points, including the 1,000th of her career, in leading the Yellow Jackets to a WestPAC North win on Tuesday.
Eisenhuth, who needed 14 points to achieve the scoring milestone, added 10 rebounds. Jamie Rosequist supplied 11 points and four blocked shots for Ferndale, which also got 10 points from Chelsey Steeves.
Angie Zanin’s 11 points led the Vikings.
Berlin 57 Salisbury-Elk Lick 27
BERLIN – Beth Coddington scored 21 points and Brooke Snyder netted 17 as Berlin defeated visiting Salisbury-Elk Lick in WestPAC South action.
The Mountaineers used a 22-2 first-quarter advantage to pull away.
Blairsville 65 Laurel Valley 62 OT
BLAIRSVILLE – Nicole Smith had 20 points and Tiffany Lingenfelter had 19 as Blairsville outlasted visiting Laurel Valley in overtime in the Heritage Conference.
Chelsey Hropovich netted 14 points and had 19 rebounds for Laurel Valley. Morgan Waugh had 13 points, 10 rebounds and five steals. Jessica Brown had 12 rebounds.
Brittany Hansen had 12 points, and Morgan McLaughlin scored 11 points.
Northern Cambria 54 Ligonier 32
NORTHERN CAMBRIA – Janae Dunchack and Breanna Kochinsky shared game-high honors with 13 points each for the Colts while Ariel Rocco added 12 and Jess Rocco had 11 in the Heritage Conference matchup.
Windber 63, Portage 24
PORTAGE - Sarah Berkey scored 20 points, Cheyenne Feathers added 13 and Rachael Lovely contributed 10 in Windber’s win at Portage in a WestPAC North contest.
Feathers, a freshman, also had five rebounds, three steals and four assists while teammate Andrea Null supplied eight rebounds and seven steals.
Marion Center 73, United 31
ARMAGH - Melissa Kuzmyaki had nine points to lead United in a losing effort against Marion Center in the Heritage Conference.
North Star 55, Shade 36
KANTNER – Emily Lohr had a dozen points and 11 rebounds to pace the Cougars in a WestPAC nonsection win.
Chelsea Danel and Sarah Pelesky had 10 points and seven assists each, with Danel getting six steals and Pelesky four.
Shanksville 36 Turkeyfoot Valley 31
SHANKSVILLE – Lacy Lowry scored 19 points as Shanksville edged visiting Turkeyfoot Valley in a WestPAC South game.
Renee Nickelson led Turkeyfoot Valley with 11 points as the Rams cut a 15-point deficit to five in the final seven minutes.
Clearfield Alliance Christian 56 Cambria County Christian 34
MUNDYS CORNER – Hillary Yarger scored 17 points, Alyssa Wharton had 15 and Felicity Cowfer and Akasha Goins added 10 each as Clearfield Alliance took advantage of foul trouble by Cambria County Christian.
Cambria County was led by Natalie Sokira. Two members of the home team fouled out.
