SOMERSET – Luke Gallaher scored a game-high 30 points to lead the Rangers.
Tanner Thomas added 16 points for Forest Hills, while Cody Johnson and Dan Hinderliter each had five assists and Eric Daniels had six steals.
Jeremiah Judy led Somerset with
15 points.
Conemaugh Valley 63
Central Cambria 60
EBENSBURG – Jesse Uncapher led a balanced Conemaugh Valley attack as the Blue Jays pulled out a nonleague win at Central Cambria.
Dalton Uncapher racked up 17 for the Jays, while Jim Lupek added 11 and Jesse Uncapher, 10.
Zack Vigneault finished with 20 points
– including six 3-pointers – to lead the Devils. Zach Rodkey hit for 15 and Caleb Handlon added 14.
Richland 74
Conemaugh Township 61
Derek Malzi scored 24 points and had
14 rebounds while Jordan Rozich had
20 points and 12 rebounds in leading Richland over visiting Conemaugh Township.
Max Pavlovich had 11 points and Alex Ritenour, 10, for the Rams.
Mike Lysic’s 19 points paced the visitors, who got 17 from Kyle Zambanini and
12 from Dylan Boyer.
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS
Somerset 62, Johnstown 48
Nicole Shaffer had 20 points and Nicole Landis added 11 as Somerset notched a win at Johnstown.
Senior captain Missy Ravida had five assists and a career-high 17 points for the Lady Trojans, who got 12 points and
12 rebounds from Tyneshia Smith.
Bishop McCort 61
Westmont Hilltop 43
Bishop McCort won a key Laurel Highlands Section 2 contest over Westmont-Hilltop.
The Crushers used a 16-2 edge in the second quarter to salvage a split of their two games with the Hilltoppers, and will hold the tiebreaker on the basis of a bigger margin of victory in those games should they win out.
Jillian Kegg scored 19 points for McCort, including four 3-pointers in the first quarter, and Jill Spisak came off the bench to add 16.
Brittany Boyd finished with 12.
Gina Rievel paced Westmont with 20, and Alyssa Yewcic added 11.
Conemaugh Township 56 Blacklick Valley 26
DAVIDSVILLE – Julie Byer scored
20 points and Lindsey Callihan had 14 in leading the Indians.
Byer also had seven steals while Katie Reckner grabbed 13 rebounds and Taissia Pituch nabbed 10.
Conemaugh Valley 51 Ferndale 35
Conemaugh Valley got 15 points each from Beth Kendera and Taylor Gruss en route to a victory over visiting Ferndale.
Brittany Eisenhuth’s 24 points and
10 rebounds led the Yellow Jackets.
Gruss had eight rebounds for the Blue Jays.
North Star 66, Portage 31
BOSWELL – Emily Lohr scored
14 points and went over the 500-career- rebound mark in North Star’s win.
Karen Schmidt led the Cougars with
15 points and also had six boards. Chelsea Danel added 11 points, nine assists and four steals.
Tanea Lehman had 10 points for Portage.
Shade 59, Shanksville 34
CAIRNBROOK – Kristin Corradini scored 16 points, Marlee Zubek had 12 and Rebecca Muha pulled down nine rebounds to lead Shade.
Erin Spinella and Casey Roberts had five assists each while Roberts and Chelsey Pongrac had seven steals each.
Kayla Maust’s 10 points led the Vikings.

CRESSON – Brianna Kearney and Jess Delic showed the way with 16 points each for Penn Cambria.
