MEYERSDALE — Meyersdale rolled into the quarterfinal round of the District 5, Class A playoffs on Saturday with a
63-29 win over Tussey Mountain.
“We thought we were going to have an offensive shootout, and it kind of started out that way,” said Red Raiders coach Chris Schrock. “But then, our offense just took over the game.”
Meyersdale’s Ben Lohr ran the ball 16 times for 173 yards and teammate Ian Edwards took it 18 times for 172 yards.
“We had two guys over
150 yards,” Schrock said of the duo. “We were able to do what we wanted to do on the ground all night long.”
