Beleaguered Frontier Virtual Charter High School is closing its cyber doors with today’s vote to surrender its state charter.
Frontier’s board voted unanimously during today’s meeting to authorize the school’s attorneys to negotiate the surrender of the school's state charter.
The charter issue was the only item on the agenda for the public meeting, which lasted less then six minutes. Board members, attorneys, the school’s chief executive officer and media representatives were able to participated by teleconference.
Philadelphia-based Frontier operated a learning center in the Prospect section of Johnstown.
