Board approves table games at Valley Forge casino

VALLEY FORGE — A casino resort scheduled to open this spring in the Philadelphia suburb of Valley Forge has been approved for table games.

Valley Forge Casino Resort is scheduled to open this spring. On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved a petition by the operators to have table games like blackjack, roulette and poker.

The casino is approved to have up to 50 tables, in addition to up to 600 slot machines.

The $132.5 million resort will be Pennsylvania’s eleventh slot-machine casino. By law, Pennsylvania could one day be home to 14 casinos.
