SOMERSET —
Burglars made off with more than $900 in money, jewelry and gift cards from a home in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, state police in Somerset said.
Someone entered a home in the 1000 block of Turkeyfoot Trail Road on Wednesday and stole three gold rings valued at $250 each, two gift cards worth $125 and $50 in coins.
Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to contact state police in Somerset at 445-4104.
Police investigating theft of chain saws near Boswell
BOSWELL – Someone stole two chain saws from a residence in Boswoods Estates near Boswell Borough, state police in Somerset said.
Someone entered a storage shed on Quemahoning Street sometime between Monday and Thursday and made off with two Husqvarna gas-powered chains saws valued at $300 and $500, troopers said.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact state police in Somerset at 445-4104.
