BEDFORD —
BEDFORD – Though the Butler County jurors hearing a capital murder case against Joseph W. Clark said they’re stalemated, the judge around 6:30 p.m. Friday ordered them to return to deliberate one more day, Saturday.
Judge Daniel Howsare said he was reluctant to declare a mistrial in the nearly three-week long case because three of the 12 jurors indicated they felt further deliberations could result in a verdict.
