Firefighters free driver after crash
SIDMAN – One driver was trapped in his car when it was involved in an accident with a second car just after 3:30 p.m. Saturday on the Seesetown Road in Adams Township.
Township police said volunteers from the St. Michael Fire Company were able to free the driver.
The man – whose identity was not released – was transported by the Forest Hills Emergency Medical Service to Memorial Medical Center.
Police said that at the time of the accident the roadway was wet. One of the cars went out of control on a curve and swerved back onto the roadway into the path of the oncoming vehicle, police said.
