PITTSBURGH —
The lawyers for a western Pennsylvania woman accused of killing an FBI agent want more time to prepare for her trial.
Jury selection in Christina Korbe’s trial is expected to start later this month and the trial is set for Oct. 4. However, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Tuesday that the 41-year-old’s lawyers on Monday requested more time saying they have had a hard time finding experts willing to work with them and have fewer attorneys working the case than the government.
Korbe is accused of killing FBI Agent Sam Hicks in November 2008 when he and other officers raided her Indiana Township home to arrest her husband on drug charges.
Hicks graduated from Pitt-Johnstown in 1999.
