A story on Page A1 of Tuesday’s edition of The Tribune-Democrat incorrectly implied that the last shooting death involving a Johnstown police officer was in 1969.

On July 5, 1973, city police Officer Richard Sabo shot and killed 19-year-old Ricardo Holmes in a tussle shortly after Holmes robbed a grocery story. Sabo was cleared in a coroner’s inquest.
