HERSHEY — William L. Lehman was sworn in as the 2010 president of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors at its annual conference in Hershey recently.
Lehman has been a planner at the Somerset County Planning Commission for 24 years. He is a member of the PSLS Allegheny Heartlands Chapter.
“I have enjoyed working with the PSLS Executive Committee, board of directors, committee chairs and staff the past three years,” Lehman said. “I look forward to serving the PSLS members in 2010.”
A licensed professional land surveyor for more than 30 years, Lehman is active in the Historical and Genealogical Society of Somerset County, where he has demonstrated colonial surveying at local craft fairs for several decades.
He and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 34 years, and his son, Bill, is a graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University.
