Two men who police say shot and killed a Richland Township man two weeks ago remain at large.
Multiple police agencies are searching for the gunmen who shot Robert T. Williams Jr., 38, in his Lydia Street home Jan. 3.
Williams died two days later at Memorial Medical Center from two gunshot wounds to the head.
“We’re tracking down many leads we’ve gotten from the general public,” Richland police Chief Michael Burgan said. “We don’t have anyone we can call a person of interest right now.”
Authorities are looking for two black males who might have targeted Williams, Burgan said.
Police are trying to determine if anything was taken from the home.
A child inside the home was not injured and is being cared for by a family member, Richland Detective Kevin Gaudlip said.
Police detectives, county detectives and FBI agents are reviewing surveillance videos from businesses in the area to help them identify the suspects, determine the direction in which they fled and if they were on foot or in a vehicle.
Cambria County Crime Stoppers is offering a $4,000 reward for information leading to the the arrest and prosecution of the two men.
Meanwhile, West Hills Regional police said they are closing in on the killers of a Lower Yoder Township man.
Two black males robbed Vincent Bloom, 38, of Norton Road on July 20.
They struck him in the head with a handgun, tied him up with an electrical cord, doused him with gasoline and set him on fire. Bloom died a week later at West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh with third-degree burns over 70 percent of his body.
West Hills police Sgt. George Musulin III declined to give details of the investigation but said charges are “imminent.”
“We’re still waiting on DNA evidence from the crime lab,” he said.
Musulin said there is no connection between the two crimes.
