First National Bank branches merging

2 offices moving into West End location

JOHNSTOWN — Two First National Bank branches in Johnstown will soon consolidate into one.

The new office will be located at 1053 Broad St. It will replace First National’s current banks in Morrellville and Cambria City, which are both a mile or less from the soon-to-open location. The change is scheduled to take place in early February.

“Our new West End office is a larger, modern facility with amenities including improved parking, state-of-the-art teller stations and a two-lane drive through, making it well-suited to the needs of our commercial and retail customers,” said John Williams, president of First National Bank of Pennsylvania.

“By mid-January, customers will also have access to a well-lit and easily accessible drive-up ATM.”

Vincent J. Delie Jr., CEO of First National Bank, added, “Our new West End office represents a significant investment in the Johnstown community. The new location will feature a number of improvements and amenities that will appeal to our commercial and retail customers.”

First National remodeled the empty structure that years ago was home to a Wendy’s fast-food restaurant.

“We have totally renovated what was a previously vacant building,” Williams said.

All employees at the two current branches will be placed in other positions, many at the new location. “Customers can expect to see familiar faces at our new West End office,” Williams said.

Cynthia Cameron, a Johnstown native, will serve as branch manager. She is currently in charge of both the Morrellville and Cambria City locations.
