FRANKLIN — The last victim of a shooting rampage at a Pittsburgh-area health club last week is set to be laid to rest today.
The funeral for 37-year-old Jody Billingsley, of Mount Lebanon, will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Franklin, where she attended school and grew up.
Billingsley - a Pitt-Johnstown graduate and former basketball player – was killed along with two other women when 48-year-old gunman George Sodini of Scott Township, opened fire, wounding nine others on Aug. 4.
The shooting happened at the L.A. Fitness club in Collier Township, a few miles southwest of Pittsburgh.
Sodini committed suicide at the scene and his funeral arrangements have not been publicized.
The others he killed were buried Saturday.
