A boil-water notice for parts of Upper Yoder Township has been lifted.
Johnstown Water Authority Resident Manager Mike Kukura said the notice was lifted after repairs were completed on
Route 271 and daily bacteria samples came back negative.
The notice originally impacted the Menoher Heights area, including Fender Lane and Coon Ridge Road.
Student aid workshop slated for Wednesday
The Pride & Tradition
Center and Greater Johnstown High School will host a Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) financial aid/computer lab workshop from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the high school.
Students, parents and guardians will get assistance on filing FAFSA online from representatives of local colleges and institutions of higher learning, including Pennsylvania Academy of Cosmetology, Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Cambria-Rowe Business College, H&R Block, St. Francis University, Pitt-Johnstown and Mount Aloysius College.
Refreshments will be offered by Nutrition Inc.
