Two universities and a college in the region have been named to the G.I. Jobs 2012 list of military-friendly schools.
Pitt-Johnstown, Penn State Altoona and Mount Aloysius College in Cresson earned the designation.
The organization screens more than 8,000 colleges, universities and trade schools nationwide to determine which offer the best education, value and welcome for military members, veterans, or spouses seeking education. The top 15 percent are chosen for the list.
