Wings of Hope, a Hooversville area charity whose mission is helping families fight cancer, will hold its annual Great Santa Run on Nov. 16 in downtown Johnstown.
The two-mile run or walk will begin at 5:40 p.m., a short time before the annual Christmas parade.
The cost for registering by Saturday is $15 a person. After that, the cost is $18. For children age 12 and younger who register with an adult, the cost is $5. Registration will be held from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. at the Point Stadium.
In addition, participants are being encouraged to bring a new toy to help with a toy collection for local children.
