Cambria residents snared in bust

INDIANA — Local officers and agents of the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation rounded up

16 suspected drug dealers Wednesday in an ongoing heroin investigation.

Among those arrested were several from Cambria County:

• Nicole Lynn Brown, 24, of the 500 block of Pine Street, Johnstown, charged with one count each of drug possession and delivery of a controlled substance.

• Jamie Lee Hoffman, 23, of the 2000 block of Bigler Avenue, Northern Cambria, charged with one count of drug delivery.

• Todd Richard Tiger, 31, of the 300 block of Almond Street, Northern Cambria, charged with two counts of criminal conspiracy.

Authorities said a series of search warrants served during the past few months netted $66,000 in cash, 1,710 stamp bags of heroin valued at $34,000, nearly 200 grams of crack cocaine valued at $20,000, six handguns and a vehicle.

Others arrested are Daniel Lee Bugay, 23, Indiana; William P. Davis Jr., 48, Cherry Tree; Larry N. Dunlap, 36, Homer City; Stephanie Irene Elliot, 20, Lucernemines; Robert N. Fiasco, 32, Mahaffey; Anthony Ray Findley, 25, Cherry Tree; Richard A. Koche, 49, Blairsville.

Also, Amber Marie Legros, 23, Cherry Tree; Autumn Dawn McClellan, 24, Indiana; Brittany Anne McCune, 20, Blairsville; Jacquelyne Christine Mehalic, 21, Homer City; Jason Rabatin, 35, Cherry Tree; and John David Szentmiklosi, 24, Homer City.

Attorney General Tom Corbett said authorities believe much of the heroin in Indiana County originates from Westmoreland and Allegheny counties.
