JOHNSTOWN —
A taxi cab driver told city police that he was shot and robbed early today in the city’s Oakhurst neighborhood.
Johnstown police were dispatched at 12:44 a.m. to a house in the 500 block of Brush Avenue, where the cab driver was found wounded. He told police that he had picked up two black men and a white man in downtown Johnstown, Johnstown police Chief Craig Foust said.
The cab was found several block away on Meridan Place, also in the Oakhurst section, the chief said.
