Registrations are being accepted for Pitt-Johnstown’s SAT Super Series, an academic review for the scholastic aptitude test.
A preliminary session will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
Participants will complete an abbreviated version of the SAT to identify specific areas that might need attention in order to improve their score.
The mathematics review will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 16, and Victoria Czarnek, Pitt-Johnstown mathematics instructor, will review algebra, geometry and measurement, data analysis, probability and statistics.
The writing and critical reading review will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 23, and Lance Harshbarger will review the written essay, sentence completion, vocabulary and critical reading.
Seating is limited for these sessions, and early registration is suggested.
The early bird price is $139 for the series and $75 per course if registration and payment is received no later than noon Jan. 25.
After Jan. 25, registration will be $159 for the series and $85 per course.
An on-campus lunch will be provided for all participants.
