NEW – Two teens killed in Westmoreland County crash

GREENSBURG — Authorities say two teenagers may have been racing another car when they died in a Westmoreland County crash.

The Westmoreland County coroner’s office identifies the 19-year-old victims as James Stulga, of Irwin, and Brian Shervin, of Landisville.

Police say Stulga was speeding on a Unity Township road about 10 p.m. Thursday when he lost control of his Audi A4 and struck multiple trees. Stulga and Shervin, the passenger, were thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say witnesses saw a Volkswagen Golf GTI possibly racing the Audi before it crashed.
